David had a great sense of humor. We both took Spanish from Lena Sankey and he would always refer to her as Senorita Sankey. There was just something so funny about that, partly in the way he would say her name and also because she was such a well-intentioned little wisp of a woman who showed us more patience than we undoubtedly deserved.
I know his later years were most difficult because of his MS. I hope he is in a better place now and I hope he can still chuckle about our spanish class with Senorita Sankey.
